I don't have a lot of personal knowledge about what is really in the expense numbers.  I suspect
they are really the direct costs of the programs and do not include any burden or overhead.  I
would also guess that the numbers do not include some of the coaching contract buyouts,
certainly men's basketball and I think there was a buyout on the women's basketball.

I do understand the direct costs would include coaching salaries, team travel, recruiting and I
would also assume scholarship.  Although the scholarship is a "transfer" within the larger
university it would still have to covered by a real revenue dollar.
