A plot has gotten loose - or the bolts in someone's head?.

Story yesterday to the effect that MSU and Mich might play hockey in
the MSU football stadium on an open Saturday in the MSU football
sechedule.  The date would be October 6 (don't know how this fits in with
regular season openers - that is usually about the time of the
Green/White game.

Preliminary but apparently serious - a Texas outfit would be hired to
produce the rink and boards over a leveling base and a vapor barrier.
One goal would be to try for the largest crowd to view a hockey game.

You might want to get your ticket applications in early, the stadium only
holds about 76000. More facetiously than up to now - may Mich would try
for one next year in their 106000 seat stadium.

Several aspects are a bit hard to believe, but then so are a few other
things that have come to pass - like the Spartans having a great regular
and conference tournament season then failing to show up for the FF.
