Hi Kathy,

> Can't ever plan too early! That is my motto.

Good motto. Wish it could be mine. :-)

Gee, I don't think we've ever had a resume. Cool.

Any friend of Carol's is a friend of mine! Please go to it.

I'd say location is everything for a good turnout, but a reasonable
price will help, too. Good food, nice atmosphere work to make it a
nice time and have people want to come back, but we want to get as
many as possible there, I would think.

Good to hear you'll be working with Carol. It's great to have the ideas
and a backup person that might help, should a problem arise that
would cause you to become unavailable. Hopefully you can bring a
few others on board for some extras that might not otherwise get done.
For example, someone to do T- or sweatshirts (Carol's done this at
times in the past), a Hockey-L pin (both of these could "sell" to the list
as a whole rather than just dinner attendees), and an MC to get on a
mic and work with you to plan dinner "events". Stick on badges are
really useful. I hate seeing someone for the n'th time and not recall
their name!

Maybe you could have a flyer at this years dinner? You might get a
volunteer or two from it.

I don't know if you can find the right person in the NCAA to tell you the
NCAA hotel and what hotels will be "team hotels". Getting into any of
these would be an extra benefit, but also might be "too costly",
whatever that is.

Anyway, I for 1 am happy you're volunteering; I haven't heard of
anyone else beating the door down. :) If anyone else has such a
burning desire, I suspect they'll let us know right away.

THANK YOU!

cheers, wayne
