I wholeheartedly agree with this comment. I live in the Albany
area. Although Empire Sports covers a lot of upstate NY, it doesn't cover the capital district (except for parts of Schenectady.  My son used to go to St. Bonaventure out in the "wastelands" of southwestern NY and he could watch ECAC hockey in Olean while I couldn't watch it at home.  In addition, although I'm only 15 miles from Williamstown,MA where the cable company broadcasts NESN and FSNE, we can't get that in NY because of franchise agreements with FSNY and MSG. As a result,
we saw zero college hockey this year. (Fortunately, we get both ESPN and ESPN2).
 
So while I agree that you should express displeasure at FSNE's
decision to cut away from BU-SLU, I'd also compliment them on their commitment to college hockey, let them know how popular the sport is and encourage them to expand their coverage (and to
encourage them to influence FSNY to start covering some also)
