See, the problem with this is, it's all bias, and subjective.  I agree
that Gravellese is
the worst ref in the league (Bunyon's a close second, IMHO).  I also think
he did a fine job at the FleetCenter last weekend (that's tough for me to
say).  I think Benedetto is actually one of the more consistant
officials.
 
I sortof understand your point, but all it'll do is take some of the shock
out of unknowing fans if they see an unknown official take the ice.
 
On a side note, Mike Noeth (I think it's Mike, not Frank) retired after
the ECAC tourney last week (boo hoo).  Why couldn't it have been a year
ago :)
