It reminds me of what Penn & Teller do on stage.

They emphatically declare their language is profane - they have no use for
religion. So it's G-D that, etc. But no swearing - no F**k that.

Ed Moller said it best.

>whatever measures a public institution takes to make a family outing more
>pleasant
>and less vulgar is fine with me. 20 years ago I was one of those students
>who made those R rated >remarks after partaking in many cheap beers. I
>never thought back then that I would
>be making the kind of statement I am making today.

Welcome to Former Foulmouthed (semi)Anonymous...

Hi, my name is Dan, and I was profane at hockey games as a youth. I agree
with brother ED.

My hot button is the S**k cheers. As I have been exchanging on the Maine
list, it is the WWF mentality which is , IMHO, much to blame for the recent
explosion of bad taste and vulgarity in sports in general. You can't tell
me John Rocker doesn't watch rasslin' Folks, it's not too far off to
folding chairs smashed over the head...

And to think, some folks THIRTY years ago did not want kids viewing the
Three Stooges becuase of their brand of physical comedy...
