I remember, and the rivalry while I was in school (70-74) was all the more
intense because my best friend in high school ended up at Cornell.  He
always stayed with me in Boston for the ECAC's and, when appropriate, the
NC$$'s.
 
I think the rivalry lost its intensity when Hockey East split off.  I
still have a thrill whenever Cornell loses, however, because I've never
forgiven them for L'affaire Decloe.
