The CHA doesn't do a whole lot to add to the total number of D-1 teams. UAH
is new, and Wayne State will be new. But USAFA, Army, Niagara and Bemidji
are already Division I.
 
Since the proposed expansion was turned down last year, my reckoning is
that a sixteen-team tournament would take 60-64 teams. I think that may be
difficult to get to.

A fourteen-team tournament is probably a greater possibility, and it would
take care of the proposed CHA and MAAC auto-berths as well.
