.  Weird.  (And really inconvenient that the NCAA turned down's
hockey's proposal of a 16-team tournament with not one but *two*
fledgling conferences asking for bids in 2000-2001.
 
 
    According to QU athletic director (During the NCAA playoffs in Worcester
last spring) the NCAA plans on expanding 16 teams when the NCAA gets to a
certain number of teams. I assume this will put the NCAA close to that
number with expansion.
