And though I have a slightly favorable bias, I am amazed at how many
Wisconsin fans come to these events. When I think college hockey fan
(or people that will not overlook a potentially raucous long weekend
of college hockey and partying), they are wearing Red <g>. [and they
know how to do that god-forsaken chicken dance <g>].

Sure, the weather stinks (g-rated version), but they seem the most
loyal the final. I expect that the *fifth* most represented college
will again be the Badgers. Agree/Disagree?

Best Band? - UW
I tend to give the nod to their band, too, when they are in the
finals, too. I know that I have inquired about this before, but in my
"youngin'" days, I remember some school had like a 4 or 5 piece rock
band that would rip out songs. Very loud. Very. Which school has this
type of pep *band*? (if more than one, which one is famous for it).

Just too much for me (BC/UVA/UW grad) to speak well of Michigan's
band. I'll say that they show up and they have "Hail to the Victors"
down, to keep it positive.

Best Skating Mascot at the Finals?
Goldy. The fact that Goldy almost beheaded the BU mascot with a
blazing slapshot in the BU-Minn pre-game in Providence will be one of
the funnier *FF* memories for me. Second place: Bucky. The
badger *head* dynamics make it difficult for Bucky to be the real deal
(he he he).

Biggest Disappointment?
Cincy. Just thought it was a poorly-run event. This is not a swipe
at the teams, either

Will

Sorry for being chatty (and for having typing problems), I screwed up
my hand and I am home from work (and learning to type one handed).
[Note: I know there is a joke there, I'll leave it to the powers that
be whether the list can let it slip on by :)]
