You mean take out Crowley, or the years Crowley was playing?  A fair chunk of the reason the
Gophers defense was good were a couple of guys named Zwakman and Wasley.  And a bunch of
fine back checking forwards, led by Nick Checco.  Minnesota made two Frozen Four appearances
in the mid-90s riding team defense.

Uh, oh.  Nathan, that neurotic inferiority complex is showing again.  This paragraph says as
much about its writer as it does its subject.
