In the recent AHL All-Star Game:
9 of 22 Canadian players &
9 of 12 US-born players from the Planet/USA team
  played US College hockey
 
Planet USA: Rich Brennan, Jim Carey, Jon Coleman, Jim Dowd, Chris Ferraro,
Ken Gernander, Chris O'Sullivan, Jean-Marc Pelletier, Landon Wilson
 
Canada: Dan Boyle, Ray Giroux, Steve Guolla, John Madden, Jim Montgomery,
Randy Robitaille, Andre Savage, Martin St. Louis, Peter White
 
That's a pretty darn good ratio, really.
