Stunning a large crowd at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks Face-Off
Club on Friday afternoon, UAF head coach Dave Laurion announced his
resignation as head coach effective at the end of this season.   Coach
Laurion has been at the helm of the Nanooks for 6 years following Don
Lucia's departure.  UAF is expected to begin a nation wide search for
his replacement immediately.  As a side note, the Nanooks took the ice
on Friday night and whitewashed the University of Nebraska-Omaha 4-0.
