If the rules allow you to play 20 year old freshman, why not do so?

Because of the rules, most 18 yr olds opt for prep school and Jr. or stay
in Jr for 2 years. I feel sorry for an 18 year old trying to compete
against 20 yr old freshman. If the Wooger wants to try to compete with
18 yr olds, that's his business. He'll have to take his lumps, though.

Why doesn't he send these kids to the USHL for a year or two THEN bring
them into U Minn?

Side question - what exactly is the rule on losing eligibility when you
play Jr after 21?
