For those of you considering the long trek:
(Sounds like your basic HOW TO sessions - prehaps an added session on why
4 is better than 5, and or why two-game total-goals is the ultimate (no
that's not my master class - I did my time in Placid)!

ECAC Experience to take place in Lake Placid
Interactive carnival and free youth clinic added to championship schedule

The 1999 ECAC Men's Division I Championship will feature a free
interactive ice hockey carnival and youth clinic to take place at the
historic Olympic Center in Lake Placid, New York March 18-20.

The clinic is reserved for boys and girls ages 8-14. Registration
is required along with a ticket stub from the ECAC Menıs Division I
semifinals. Space is limited to the first 200 registered participants.
The event will include three sessions which will be staffed by ECAC
coaches, and ice hockey coaches from the community of Lake Placid. There
will be an on ice instructional session, a conditioning/nutrition session
and a "how to get involved in the sport of ice hockey" session. In
addition, there will be a session offered in which parents can learn more
about college hockey.

Individuals can obtain registration forms in the 1999 ECAC Menıs
Division I ticket application brochure. Applications can be obtained by
visiting hockey.ecac.com or by calling the ECAC at 508-771-5060 ext 219.

The ice hockey carnival is a must for hockey fans of all ages.
Individuals will have the opportunity to see how fast they can shoot a
puck, try to score a goal from center ice, see how fast they can skate, or
try on their favorite ECAC teamıs game jersey. Skates are not required
for most portions of the interactive carnival. For information on the
carnival contact the ECAC.

Concessions will be open throughout the ECAC Experience and lunch
and dinner specials will be offered to allow fans the ability to spend the
afternoon in the building were history was made in 1980.

Tickets for the 1999 ECAC Menıs Division I Championship can be
ordered by calling the Olympic Center box office at 518-523-3330. Ticket
