Scores, with hi-lites courtesy of the AP wire:

Michigan 4 LSSU 3
Mark Ouimet has 3 assists. Lakers were up 2-0 but UofM made it 3-2
after 2 and 4-2 early in the third. LSSU only managed 15 shots.

MSU 6 UIC 3
Brian Smolinski had the hat. MSU trailed 3-1 in the second. Jon
Hillebrandt only had 19 saves. Eric Kruse got the W.

WMU 4 Miami 1
Craig Brown stopped 32 for the Broncos.

Ferris State 4 Notre Dame 0
Bulldog Craig Lisko kicked out all 38 shots he faced.

OSU 5 BGSU 4 OT
The Falcons snoozed their way to another 1-goal loss. Their last *9*
losses have all been by 1 goal. OSU totally out-worked BG in the third
to tie it up at 4 before Scott Walsh scored (his second) in OT. Dan
Bylsma tallied twice for BG. It was OSU's first CCHA road win.

Looking ahead to Saturday night, BG will be in even deeper trouble.
They lost their best defenseman to injury (Wells) plus Mears may not
play (he was awful Friday night). That leaves them with a freshman,
two sophomores who both have seen action at wing, and a re-converted
winger at the blueline. Just something else to go wrong in the
dismalest of years....
