Ralph Baer corrected me:

Well, there is that. (And a little voice inside my head said "It's
not in the City, it's in Nassau," even as I was writing it.) I've
never been, and according to the Coliseum web page
<http://www.516web.com/coliseum/ncdirect.htm> my assumption that it
must be easy to reach on the LIRR is not even right; you need to
transfer to a bus in Hempstead.

Perhaps this is why the first Cornell-Colgate game didn't draw better.
(Of course, there is no shortage of Cornellians on the Island
either...)

Now what we really need is an NCAA hockey tournament at the Eisstadion
Allemand in Bern! ;-)
