Of course, the real reason was to make it less convenient for me. ;-P
 
This seems like the latest in a pattern (along with the relocation of
last year's Ice Breaker from Chicago to Madison and moving the
RPI-Union NC game from Albany to Glens Falls) of College Hockey event
organizers biting off more than they can chew, and then retreating to
a pointless fallback position.  What's next, moving the Frozen Four
from Anaheim to Denver?
