Funny, I haven't heard anything official like "We will admit you" since Tech
said they'd stay in the WCHA. While they never said "piss off", they sure
haven't been as inviting as the CCHA has.

>Perhaps it's just because Ben is one of the two people on the list posting

they are >owed the whole world right now.

Nah, just the midwestern part will do. :-)
Seriously though, I know we aren't owed anything, but being 1 of only 2
Omahans on this list, I feel I gotta do my fair share to make Omaha
well-represented, I don't mean to tick people off in the process, so sorry
if I do. :-)
But from what I've read the CCHA could/would offer a much better deal to UNO
than the WCHA ever was going to. (conference schedule in 2 years as oppossed
to 3, playoff revenue next year as oppossed to 3 years from now, playoff
entrance next year, prolly some other stuff too).

>If this really is the attitude over there, then I frankly won't be
disappointed >to not have them in the WCHA if that's what happens.
Nah it isn't. Most fans prolly don't even care that much as long as UNO gets
in a conference and plays well. UNO may draw fans and get headlines in the
local paper, but as a point of discussion, Husker football is still king of
the hill.
