This seems pretty unlikely, considering what I saw last night outside the
locker rooms at Mariucci. After being presented with the MacNaughton Cup, he
gave a pretty lengthy speech to those who stayed around (unfortunately, I
couldn't see this because I was interviewing coach Sauer), and afterwards,
there was a pretty good celebration in the hallway outside the locker rooms,
and (whom I beleved to be) the Gopher big wigs didn't treat him like a guy
they were about to fire.
 
Other than the fact that he hasn't won a NCAA title, I can't think of a
reason to get rid of him.
