Thanks to Glen for refreshing our memories about the tiebreaking rules.

Just a quick point about the current pairings in the ECAC. Glen seems
to have reversed three of the four tie-breakers (the results, not the
rules).

Glen has:
> Based on current standings: Omit ----> 12 Brwn 11 Yale
> 7 Havd 8 Unin 1 Crnl 2 RPI 3 VT 4 Prnc
>10 Dart 9 StLw 8 New 8 7 New 7 6 Clgt 5 Clks

I get this set of pairings: Omit ----> 12 Brwn 11 Dart
  7 Unin 8 Harv 1 RPI 2 Crnl 3 VT 4 Prnc
 10 Yale 9 StLw 8 New 8 7 New 7 6 Clgt 5 Clks

There are four places where the tie-breakers need to be used:

Cornell vs. RPI (20 points)
RPI wins head to head 1-0 (12/06/96, RPI 4, Cornell 3)

Vermont vs. Princeton (19 points)
Vermont wins head to head 1-0 (1/10/97, UVM 3, Princeton 2)

Union vs. Harvard (14 points)
Head to Head is tied 1-1
Union wins record against top 4 (Union 1-2-2, Harvard 1-5)

Yale vs. Dartmouth (9 points)
Yale wins head to head 1-0 (1/10/97, Yale 5, Dartmouth 4)

Of course, as Glen says, this is all pretty meaningless right now.

Also - I'm assuming that tiebreakers 2-6 also only count ECAC contests.
