If my memory serves me correctly, PASS broadcast Michigan's road game at
Notre Dame on November 1, 1996.

It is my belief that the Prime CCHA contract requires that every CCHA team
appear on at least one broadcast. Since PASS produces the games for Prime it
would appear reasonable to cover either a Michigan-UAF game or a MSU-UAF game
and the MSU New Years Eve game had just been broadcast by Prime.

Other than broadcasting games from Joe Louis, PASS only broadcasts games from
Yost (Mich), Munn (MSU) and Bowling Green probably because these rinks have
regular facilities for TV broadcasting. The TV facilities at the Joe are
obvious. Also, many Bowling Green home games are telecast by a local Toledo
TV station so there must be regular television facilities available. When
the Michigan game was broadcast from South Bend, I recall that they had to
import a yellow construction crane with a bucket to locate a TV camera high
enough to clear the glass. Such things are not required at Munn or Yost.
