If so, it wouldn't be the first time, though it's only happened once before.  In
1993, Hockey East had two teams in the NCAAs (Maine and BU), while the ECAC had
three (Harvard, Clarkson, and Brown).  The caveat is, Maine and BU were the #1
and #2 seeds, while the ECAC teams were seeds 3 through 5.

Just the teams.  Overall conference performance relative to other conferences is
not a selection criteria (though one could argue that it shows up indirectly in
the opponents' and opponents' opponents' winning percentages used to calculate
the RPI).
