Steve, Jeff, and older brother Jack Carlson all played for the Marquette Iron
Rangers of the old United States Hockey League, a semi-pro league back when
there were only 6 teams in the NHL. They probably all could have had
respectable careers in the NHL as it exists today. Most of the stuff in the
movie was not made up.... these guys are REALLY goofy.
