Brag no, cry yes.  The turnout at the games is bleak at best.  As a student
here I got season tickets at center ice about 8 rows up (there are only
about 12 rows total).  That should give you an indication of the popularity
of hockey at osu.

The current rink at Ohio State holds 1400 (approx).  Plans have been
approved to build a new facility for both basketball and hockey that would
hold about 20,000.  It probably won't be finished for another 5 years (if
we're lucky).  The average "Joe" stands a pretty good chance of getting a
ticket to a buckeye hockey game because hockey just isn't very popular
here.  I hope the new facility will attract better players which would make
for a better team and in turn more fans.  It will be very difficult
competing with the football proram.  Mabey someday, but not in the near
