While eating breakfast this morning, I was thinking ....
Hmmm .... The 1999 NC$$ Phinal Phour will be contested in Anaheim, CA
at The Pond in Anaheim, home of the NHL Mighty Ducks. The Mighty Ducks,
of course, are owned by the Disney Corp., who yesterday purchased outright
(or agreed to merge, I'm not quite certain) with CapCities/ABC Corp. One
of the better performing subsidiaries of CapCities is .... ESPN !! Wanna
bet that at least for ONE year we won't be watching Tennis/Golf highlights
on ESPN instead of live coverage of the Phinal Phour semi-finals .... :-)
