>East? One? I can think of (Providence's) Chris Terreri. The goalies
>that get into the NHL come out of the West.' So, of course, Carey
>went to Wisconsin, because that's where the Rangers' Mike Richter and
>the Blues' Curtis Joseph went. Good goalies. NHL goalies."

Besides the two above mentioned goalies, what other WCHA (or CCHA) goalies
have established themselves in the NHL? What about all the great goalies
from the CCHA and WCHA that have not made it in the NHL? Robb Stauber?
Jason Muzzatti, (just called up after how many years in the minors?)? John
Blue? Steve Sheilds? Norm Foster? These are the only ones who's names I
remember of the top of my head.

The fact is very few goalies make it in the NHL period. Goalie "turnover"
is low compared to fowards and defensemen in the NHL. Since fewer goalies
make it in NHL compared to other players, that means there are fewer
opportunities for college goalies to make it.

Finally, Jim Carey (and Blaine Lacher) may not even make it in the NHL.
What if he starts to loses several games and give up a lot of goals? Anyone
remember the Bruins fabulous rookie Mike Moffat (I believe that was his name)?
