In come-from-behind style, Michigan Tech wins its first
home game in a while with a 5-4 victory over Alaska-Anchorage.
UAA was up 3-0 early in the second when MTU scores 5 unanswered
goals, including the short-handed game winner by Randy Stevens
with less 3 minutes remaining in the game. UAA scored their
final goal a little later while still on the powerplay
(5 minute major to J.Mikesch) but was unable to put the puck
past Kucway a final time with a 6 to 4 skater advantage as time
ran out.

I'll let Dave Fisher and Walt Olson fill in the details.

Superior Player of the Game: Randy Stevens (2 goals)

3 Stars:

1. Randy Stevens (MTU)
2. Brent Myers (MTU)
3. Jimmy Roy (MTU)
