I heard last night on the local tv news, that the Rochester Americans (farm
club to the Buffalo Sabres) demoted two players to the South Carolina team
in the ECHL.  The sportscaster called these moves, "an admittance to the
organizations miscalculations on personnel", or something like that.  One
of the players was goaltender Steve Shields who was winless in 6 games and
had a 6.13 GAA.
