Union announced three hockey recruits for the class of 1998:
 
- Trevor Koening, 5'11" goalie from Edmonton.  He had a 14-12 record
with a 2.90 GAA and .904 save percentage for Ft. Saskatchewan of the
Alberta Junior Hockey League last season.
 
- Charlie Moxham, 6'0", 185 lb left wing from Calgary.  He scored 13
goals and 24 points in 38 games for the Calgary Royals last season.
 
- Boe Leslie, 5'11" 170 lb.  Played for the Portage Terriers last
season.  No other information was included.

Union has also dropped plans to attend a Christmas tournament in
Vancouver in favor of a 2-game series at Minnesota-Duluth.  Union's
Feb 25, 1995 game against Harvard will start at 4PM as part of the
College's Bicentennial.  Union was founded on Feb 25, 1795.  The game
at McGill on Nov 19 has been dropped, and another team is being sought
to fill that date.
