Actually, it's Delta Sigma Phi. But no, the bell is no where near
as annoying in Cheel as it was in Walker. In Walker, the bell was situated
right over where the visiting team entered, thusmaking it more annoying. Now,
the teams enter at about center ice and the bell is behind one of the goals.
To make matters worse, the students are pathetically quiet, too. Only about
half of the fans immediately to the left of the Pep Band (the Band's left)
is into the game and makes any noise (beside the Band itself). A few fans
in the section where Craig Conroy's mother sits is also pretty vocal but
other than that... nothing. It's pretty sad.
 
It's too bad because we need it more. Since Cheel has a high ceiling
and seats with a gradual slope, sound doesn't carry very well, like it
did in Walker.
