Dear Colleagues,

We're very fortunate to have been selected to present a traveling exhibit
from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (USHMM), cosponsored by
ALA. Entitled "Americans And The Holocaust," the exhibit explores
questions about America's knowledge of and response to Nazi anti-Semitism
and the Holocaust, 1933-1945. I urge you to consider making the trip
up/down/over to Bangor to view this exhibit, which is open from today
through January 15. Though the exhibit will have 50 stops around the
country, this is its only stop in New England.

Facing the Future of Resource Sharing
December 8, 2021, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm Central

Take a closer look at the future of resource sharing with Amigos Library Services on December 8, 2021, as we explore resource sharing trends on the horizon and ways of providing patrons with better access to library collections and services outside of our building and within our reach. No one library can fulfil all user information needs, so going it alone is not an option. Libraries have long relied on sharing resources and active partnerships and continue to do so today.

It has snuck up on me once again both DECEMBER and the Hour of Code!

This year's hour of code will be celebrated the week of December 6th - 12th. Does that mean you can ONLY celebrate code for one week in December? NO! However, there are some great resources located at https://hourofcode.com/us under Activities that allow students to choose and work through problems by themselves or in small groups.
